Whether He heals, or whether He chooses to use my life in a different way... it is evidence of His power, His love, His grace. And, above all, He receives all the glory because He is good.
If Jesus prayed in the garden for a different way if at all possible... and then submitted His will to the Fathers will.... should that not be our example as we pray for relief from our struggles. Phew... !
